Parent Comments...
"UpSwing is so fantastic that my words cannot adequately express how wonderful the experience has been for my daughter. She started in 6th grade and has been part of the Teens who Fly group all through Middle and High School. The group and teachers have been very nourishing for her artistically and in her personal development. I feel she is much more confident and better at expressing herself. Since starting she has become far more comfortable in her own skin which is a problem that many females of any age, especially teenagers, struggle with. I fully recommend UpSwing to any prospective participants. Thank-you!" - Susan Godes
"UpSwing Aerial Dance provides a very special creative community for teens and our daughter couldn’t be happier here. Kirstin manages to mentor in a way that allows the girls freedom to discover new ways to express themselves – on the ground, in the air and with each other. She has an amazing talent to connect with each member of the class as an individual - making them feel truly seen, accepted and appreciated. There is a warm camaraderie always present in the class and our daughter always leaves energized and inspired. It took us quite a while to find a class such as Teens Who Fly and we are so glad we did. Kudos to Upswing and Kirsten! Thank you so much." - Marielle C.

"My two kids attended a free aerial dance class with a friend around eight years ago. They enjoyed swinging on the trapeze and joined Girls Who Fly which then evolved into Teens Who Fly. In the years they have participated in aerial dance they have fun and have learned a lot about dance from the different teachers they have had. Performing has given them confidence, poise and discipline. Thanks." - Catharine T.

"Both my girls have come up through the ranks with Girls Who Fly and Teens Who Fly and summer camps with Cherie. Sometimes they'd step away for a time, but they always came back of their own volition. The caliber of teachers through the years has been consistently excellent, and the performance experience has been a lovely bonus for both kids. There's a lot of heart in this program - I highly recommend it!" - Sara S.
